Elissa Bajac, OT Reg. (Ont.)

I am a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting women during "seasons of change" or transitional phases

During my most recent life transition (postpartum and motherhood) and while considering my future rites of passage (perimenopause and menopause), I reflected on my own experience as a woman. The shame, stigma, and lack of support around so many normal biological changes. While I was on  quest to find the type of support I needed postpartum, I couldn’t stop thinking about how OTs are perfectly situated to support women's mental health and wellbeing across the lifespan.

My work experience has been supporting individuals, primarily women, who are experiencing life transitions following an accident, injury, illness, or some other life disruption. It is a true privilege to journey with clients as they return to or discover what makes life meaningful for them.

When I’m not wearing my OT hat, you can find me "momming" two sweet and spirited little kids along with my partner. I also enjoy sewing and reading, spending time with my family (near and far), time outside and never turn down a good brunch.
